Headed up to LBJ this week for the first time. Wife and I are staying around Kingsland area. Any advice on running the lake up there? Dink patterns?

Wacky rigged senko or a dropshot around main lake boat docks should produce some bites. There is large sandbar at the confluence of the Llano and Colorado rivers. It is well marked with hazard bouys and channel markers

LCRA has placed channel markers up through the lake. Probably be best to run those until you learn your way around. Rock shoals are not very forgiving.Hope you have a safe trip.

There is a tremendous amount of floating algae on the lake right now. If the house is main water you might be okay but otherwise might not be what you expected. I am thinking might even find a frog bite on those giant mats. Good luck
