Caught this one from my dock on a frog in 97 degree temp. yesterday.

Lazy Ike I didn't have my scale or my measuring board with me. I was guessing she was between 6 and 7lbs. I was by myself and didn't want to keep her out of the water too long are I would have taken more pictures. She did fight good and jumped twice even in the hot weather.

Nice fish man. Even tho it was 97 when you caught her the water temp was probably about 84 which is right in the not that hot for a bass to hit a topwater especially if she was hiding under the shade of the pads.
