I prefer to hunker down in a spot this time of year, but we fished from one end of the lake to the other today. I like the blue bag Louisiana fish Fry. Nothing extra.

Crushed saltine crackers, roll out with rolling pin, salt and red pepper to taste. Alittle work but well worth it. Deep fry.

Wow !!! Holly molly nice haul. How deep ? Timber ? Jigs ? Rocks ? Pattern ? Example on the fall dead sticking pitching. ? We started fishing ~8:30 and left at 2p. I fished spots from 17’-25’ deep. Most fish were caught between 12-14’ down regardless of the bottom depth. Mostly minnows, but the biggest fish of the day was on a white split tail jig. The jig bite was better earlier in the day than later. We were fishing slow, but moving spots all day long. We started in the buck creek area and finished near the lone oak bridge.

Smoking hot oil Sounds like some next level fish cooking. We’re gonna try this one out too. Thanks for sharing

Yellow mustard. Cheap hot sauce. And shake in zatarains or Louisiana fish fry. I cut em into strips too so they fry crispier. Good stuff!!

salt , lemon pepper and chili powder on dry fish then roll in italian breadcrumb seasoning ' fry in very hot grease. 350/360 F when they float to the top they are done..no need to poke around and flip them.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Yellow Cornmeal. Add Salt & Pepper until it looks like fish batter should.
Alternatively Add crushed red pepper flakes to your cornmeal mix above. Dredge your fish in sriracha and coat with the cornmeal mix. Super yummy.

1/2 corn meal 1/2 flour lemon pepper and salt to taste Onion or garlic powder for a little extra flavor. Red pepper flakes for some color. Wet fish fillets with water, roll them in the mixture and give them a good dunking in some peanut oil.
