Looks like there has been a tournament going on every morning this week launching at the bridge on Hubbard Creek. Anybody know who it is and what kind of luck they have been having? Last week the lake was fishing really small between the muddy water and the wind.

Between the muddy water and now the heat I am surprised it was that much. Congrats to the winners cause they earned it.

the amount of dead fish is unacceptable Looks like a total of 53 dead bass weighed in from 39 teams after 3 days. Definitely hurts since it's my home lake. Surely they kept them to eat or donated them.

53 dead bass is crazy. Especially when you’re talking probably mostly 2+ pounders.

I'll bet that over three days that many were removed by meat hunters, I know Sun Country runs a good tournament. Talked to some of them and they said they tried every thing to keep them alive and thought the oxygen level was low and water temps were in the low 90's.

I'm gonna start keeping every bass 2 lbs and under on that lake anyway. I wish a bunch of others would too. A few less in there wont do anything but help it.

What was it about 2 years ago you could hardly stand to go around the boat ramp a day or two after a tournament because it smelled so bad with all of the dead bass laying around. Now you see one now and then but nothing like it was. Not sure but warden attending a few weigh ins may have changed peoples minds about eating bass.
