I threw a baste together the other day and I thought it turned out real well, and the family liked it, too. There's a ton of different bastes out there, but prolly not as simple as this one. Throw it together and brush it on....has anyone ever tried something similar?

Ketchup
Mustard
Brown Sugar
Minced onion (I will add next time)
Garlic Powder ( I will add next time)
Soy Sauce

I grilled the chicken at 550 for 5 min a side, then slowed it way down to 300 for another 20 min, turning and basting every couple of minutes. Slowing it down seemed to help keep the juices in the meat. Pic is attached. My wife always accuses me of being the best at drying out the chicken that I grill. Not this time....winning!

Google Huli Huli chicken recipe, it's fairly close to that.

Alabama (originally from Decatur, AL) white sauce is good on grilled chicken. Mayonnaise based and some good recipes online.

Looks real good! I've been brushing melted butter on them and giving it a good dose of blackened season all over.

I like the Brazilian Beer chicken marinade. It is good for bone in/skin on chicken. I use on breasts because I don't eat dark meat but would be great on leg quarters too.

Yep this will solve most of your dry chicken problems. Pull white meat and IT is at 160 (the meat will carry over to about 165). Will still be juicy.

You get out of it what you put into it!

Italian dressing, baste then on grill, then dip in baste each time you turn!

I would agree with you , but then we would both be WRONG !!!!!
