Does your's have the line guides twisted around it..??? I have an original Texas Sidewinder made by Kit Harrison but it has the line guides in the "normal" position. It was my first bait casting rod years ago...:)

started on the west coast several years ago called spiral or acid wrap, to address casting / rail rods turning under pressure from large fish on tuna charter boats
I stand corrected after more research, I first experienced the rods in CA

I bought one when I was having elbow problems . Could not see that it helped. It is bundled up with all the old rods I never use anymore.
