Guys, I have been fishing Hubbard the last few weeks with mixed success. Granted I am new to bass fishing on the lakes so catching a 5 bass limit regardless of size is a win for me and great day for me. I have found success around the I-30 bridge 2 out if the last 3 times out. Once the white chatterbait was the ticket and another was a mix of crank baits. The other time out I skunked along the rocks but moved over to a marina and caught a couple on a senko. All in all that is good for me but definitely room for improvement!

I am curious what kind of patterns you guys are running in the summer/fall on Hubbard? I am not looking for your honey while just some general patterns I can get out and try. I am new and trying to learn.

Thank You

Should be tons of water and flooded brush in the flats with all the water being released out of Lavon.

I used to do really good up there when it was flooded on the usual suspects, swim jig, spinner bait, chatter bait, frog, buzz bait, and flipp'n a jig or plastic.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll have to give that a shot. Haven’t spent much time up in that area yet.

Go up in river and fish typical current breaks also. But, lots of water in flats = lots of bait in flat and lots of fish
