Banker as Always (Chuck) and I have been doing real well with all sorts of sunfish. Rather, Chuck has been doing real well. Me not so much, but enough to keep me at it most every day. I even lucked out with a new pending water body catch and release record with a 10.75" overcoming the previous record of 10.50". Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every year or so. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/21522/filename/plum creek 8 Jun 01.JPG)

Sure appreciate your responses Chuck, Vogey, Pot licker, and Osbornfishing. Panfishing is a whole lot of fun especially when you have someone like Chuck to show where to dunk your worm.

I use to aspire to be a professional Bass fisherman. Went through quite a few Bass Boats and fished as many Bass Tournaments as my wallet would allow. Gave up my Bass aspiration around 1996 and went the way of Kayak and Catfishing. Now when I started falling in the water every time I tried to get into or out of my Kayak, I started reading the Bluegill section and started thinking these old boys (and girls) sure sound like they're having a lot of fun. So I invested in a couple of Ultralight rigs and got me a bucket with a lid (cause I get a little dizzy after standing for very long) and discovered I can have just as much fun, or more, without all the hoopla just dunking a piece of worm and catching the mighty sunfish. I also begin to think it is easier to catch a 10 lb Bass than a 10" Rio or Sunfish. Welcome, aboard and thanks a bunch for your response.
