Yes. There are a handful that don’t care or are untouchable. The rest either don’t try or have acquiesced. It’s sad, because it used to be people knew how to laugh or ignore, and comedians would still make jokes.

It used to be that “We The People” were united and took joy in our fight against “the man“ for trying to censor our speech (comedians, music lyrics...etc.)...now we do it to each other.

It will never die . There will always be people with common sense and rational thinking and a good sense of humor . The good funny usually has to cross the line and talk about things that some people are scared to bring up in casual conversation or think inside of there head but to scared to say out loud . But a good comedian can do all that and still make you laugh at it and bring the crowd together at the same time .

But maybe that’s just me . I like blunt/vulgar and outspoken/ loud people they are usually the most honest . Real good friends will always call you on your bs and make fun of you . It’s very hard to for me to be at ease and trust some one if they are always proper and walk around with a stick up there butt and cannot take a joke .
