Just got back from Amistad. There are islands and soon to be islands everywhere!! Take a drive across the 90 bridge and you will see what I mean, it's a must see situation. The points that you see from the bank are protruding 25 to 100 yards out and are just below the surface. At mile marker 14, between the marker and the bank are two HUGE soon to be islands just below the surface. It's hard to see them during the day so beware when you are running in the dark, they take up a lot of real estate. Our club had a dinkfest going on with BB weighing in at 3.40. A lot of people were casting and very little catching. Y'all stay safe on the water and please wear a PFD!
