do the game wardens show up at weigh in like they do for other tournaments?

I'm sure these guys are smart enough to buy licenses and know length limits but just curious if the gw are there any way.

I don't know if they were at weigh in but I do know they were at blast off. I saw picture of them on the Game Warden's social media page.

Saw some yesterday at the expo, so I imagine they’d stick around for the weigh in.

I wonder what happens to the fish after they come off the lake.

Do they weigh them in at the ramp or behind the stage at weigh in. I know they don't weigh them on the stage.

For this Classic, they are weighing them as they come off the water. For Days 1 & 2, they were able to bring 2 fish to the weigh-in stage. Today, they will be bringing them all and weighing them on stage.

several years ago there was a big controversey about one of the fishermen getting a ticket for no license (I think it was Aaron Martens on Guntersville)...if I recall this correctly,he finished in top ten and wasn't disqualified because at the time,BASS didn't have a rule against not having a license..Aaron claimed he had bought a license at Wal-mart but they couldn't come up with a record of him doing it (again my memory is pretty fuzzy on how this played out) but i was told that caused BASS to require each fishermen to show a valid license when they register for the tournament and they put it in the rules that you would be disqualified if you broke any laws....
also been told the game wardens are told that all fishermen have have been checked for valid licenses which is why we don't see game wardens checking licenses during the tournament....

Licenses and such are checked at angler registration meeting before event.

I figure it is like a perk for them, get to go hang with the pros and kick back for a couple of days while watching things.
