I guess I’m not sure why it’s not a player here at the classic.

Is it just the population of fish in RR?

its because of the high water they are fishing in the flooded bushes.. No need for it there. Patrick Walters tried it yesterday and didn't get bit. I don't know if Hank Cherry has it but he may have used it fishing the dam.

Curious what depth would someone have to be in for it to make a difference? I just have traditional sonar and mainly use to find structure & cover but curious about the new technology.

I really don’t know the ins and outs that’s why I was asking.

It wasn’t like the bite up shallow was breaking records.

I understand the guys at the top beating the banks / bushes but it seemed like the guys who needed bigger fish to catch up would have gone looking for deeper bigger fish on the graphs.

Asking this stuff for a friend.

This is why im on the fence about it...especially after seeing MegaLive. i was really hoping/expecting mega imaging on live....where Id be able to see structure pretty well too, not just trees but rocks too since thats whats at my lake.

Just going off what I read/seen on youtube...I think that live imaging is ideal for suspenders and more open water type fishing. Seems like if you are an offshore guy then live is for you....if youre a bank beater, maybe not. I know all the ANTI crowd will come out the wazoo to talk bad about live imaging whenever an angler uses it to win....but no one talks about all the tourneys that are won with these guys not relying heavily on live imaging....which Im of the opinion is still the majority of tourneys.

Basically....its a tool. Not the be all end all that makes PBs jump in your livewell the way some of the Anti Live crew makes it seem at times. Now with that said...if I was a pro....adapt or die! You gotta be good with that thing and be able to use it when its needed. I dunno about me and live though since im not a pro....im slowly talking myself out of it 🤔

I’ve had one for almost a year and can say I haven’t caught a fish because of it. You need to be ready to put the time in to learn it. I finally got to a lake where I thought I would spend some time on it and the live scope would not come on. My graph was working but livescope would not. Biggest waste of my money yet.

I got it for scanning in 10' or more, since I fish fork mostly I think it will help me learn where the fish are during the yr. and hopefully help me pattern them better.

need more time on the water with it first.

I didn't buy it to catch fish but to learn where they are during different times of yr. now thru fall I think it will be a game changer for me in the deeper water when they head there.

it looked to me like most of the guys fishing the bushes did not even turn their graphs on.
