Is this a real thing and when does the total madness stop? Out country cannot afford it.

I was thinking about this while driving today. I can see this dependency on the government going full circle. Once the wells start to need replenishing I can imagine Uncle Sam assigning jobs to people. That’s where I fear this will end up if we don’t stop their momentum

I’ve read some about this and you are most likely right. It evidently is not new money, just early payment of future tax credits. It will backfire on a lot of families.
