Drove by two ramps today both were full with lots of overflow as well. I have never seen as many boats on the lake as I saw today. Lewisville was already a dangerous lake on weekends but now it is insane. I guess covid created a bunch of new boaters. I wouldn't be out there on a bet.

The very reason I avoid all those metroplex lakes..........stay a minimum of 150 miles away

The problems associated with that many boats loaded with weekend getaway attitudes ! There aren't enough law enforcement officials nor first responders to properly manage the drama !

Covid definitely increased boat owner numbers. I would also bet there are extra boats on Lewisville today because they are trying to avoid Ray Robert’s and that circus.

It was nuts. Saw a bunch of huge semi yachts in tiny coves. Saw several people dragging empty trailers around cause they couldn't find a place to park them after they dropped their boats. Lot of stress and strife at the ramps.

Go to Granbury.....we were on it from 5:30 this morning to about noon. Saw 4 other boats, total...LOL. Never saw another boat until 10:00 a.m. Of course if you want to successfully navigate it, you need a minesweeper on the front of your boat.

Just that time of year - always mayhem but keep in mind some ramps are closed like Tower Bay and the Lake Park so it makes the remaining ones even worse than normal.

What ramps are actually open right now on Lewisville? Im getting ready to post about my boat being for sale. I store it right by West Lake, but last I saw the ramp was closed.
