Came up for the American Crappie Trail! First time we’ve been here before and we were welcomed with high water! 9.5’ to be exact! Had the fish scattered and prefishing was pretty tough. The waters fallen some each day and I thinks it’s pushing more fish out of the bushes and into the main lake as we caught more fish today than we did in the 2.5 days of prefishing combined. Ran into a couple good kickers. Need to put 2 days together for a change and see what we can do! Sitting in 3rd place after day 1 with 11.19 and 11.26 is leading it. 10.48 rounds out the top 10! I bet 1/2 the field had 10 pounds or better. Gonna be a tight race! Casting Slab Syndicate hand ties has worked for us all week! Need them to get us there one more day!! I have some availability in mid July. May was off IMO. July should be great if you can stand the heat!

Tough day today! See where we land. Nearly the last boat out today but I don’t think that hurt us! Our fish from yesterday runt off!

We didn’t fish clean today and lost 3 fish! One I know cost us for sure but happy with the way the day turned out! Clay put on a seminar last 30 minutes and we ended up culling 3-4 fish and came in 4th. No kickers today. We had 2 yesterday. First time here and fishing against the best we will take it!! Thanks for all the support!
