I measure the width of my 4 fingers posed like you have your fingers and got 4"
Using that as a scale I figured that fish is 22"
According to the link below , that is about a 6 1/4 lb fish.


I was gonna guess 7

EDIT : Looking at chart again, 2" makes a huge difference at least thats what she said, and my length estimate could very well be off 3"

when without a scale at least measure the length and girth a simpe formula L*L*G/1200 provides an estimated weight. Maybe not to the ounce but usually with in 1/2 pound. If the Bass is 23" long with an 18" girth, she is right at 8 pounds
