How long does it take to try 25 colors and all the variations of those and have the confidence that there is a difference between green pumpkin red flake and black flake?
GOD is good!

Great topic! I'm new here so I wasn't sure what to expect but I'm not surprised that I'm right there with most of you. Green pumpkin and watermelon seed are the most natural looking colors in many of the lakes we fish and natural colors trigger strikes. I like red flake in the spring. Black/blue fleck in low light or muddy water. Been working for me for a long time. June bug or chartreuse pepper on centipedes for c-rigs as mentioned above (hot summer high sun).

My overall confidence colors are plum and watermelon candy red. On occasion camo and watermelon candy blue, but I always go back to the first two, no matter water color. I truly believe it's 99% confidence and not the color. I have ONE color of squarebill and I can outfish all other colors combined with it. Again, confidence.
