Sorry, your post makes no sense. I liked the “a man (I’m being generous here)” quip. Not necessarily in any way related to you, or steveiam, or the topic at hand, or...etc. I just get a kick out of good snarky responses. Well done steveiam!

I was self employed in a very tough business for 50+ years until I retired. So yeah, I have been in a business that I built from the ground up and did ok while many went out of business. And yes, many do deserve to go out of business. You have no idea of what I voted for so I will confess. I voted against the selfish autocrat, racist selfish, guy that ruined our foreign relations, crashed our trade agreements with nothing in mind to replace them. So I did vote for Biden and so far am proud of it though he was not my first choice. He nor none of his staff have been indicted. If he is defeated, he will not storm the Capitol.
So what are your credentials? Other than being a has been?

Keep looking forward. That’s why windshields are larger than rear view mirrors.

Talking about how first covid closed restaurants and now food prices and materials for remodel are going to finish off what covid couldn't. He said packets of ketchup went from 7 cents ea to 42 cents ea. brisket went from $9/lb to $22/lb. He thinks we'll loose 18% of restaurants and 25% of bars. then just wait for the minimum wage increase. Restaurants increased cost result in higher menu prices. Their real battle will be if the customer has a positive "value perceived".
