Talking about how first covid closed restaurants and now food prices and materials for remodel are going to finish off what covid couldn't. He said packets of ketchup went from 7 cents ea to 42 cents ea. brisket went from $9/lb to $22/lb. He thinks we'll loose 18% of restaurants and 25% of bars. then just wait for the minimum wage increase.

Is there a link to this or do we need to use The (Insert favorite search engine) to find the interview?

I have no idea who Jon Taffer is but brisket is still well below $22/lb. You can get Prime brisket at Sam's for less. Perhaps he is talking about cooked brisket which is about what it cost at a top 50 BBQ restaurant these days. Things have certainly increased in price an inordinate amount. Everything, housing, food, transportation, labor and on and on. Minimum wage increase? I see fast food restaurants advertising for help at $15/hr with no minimum wage. I would guess he is right about restaurants going out of business. Probably 20% deserve to go out as they are poorly managed.

It’s what you openly wished for-

It’s amazing what a man (I’m being generous here) would wish for when he feels intimidated though-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

I don’t feel anybody’s business deserves to go out of business. If you have ever built a business from the ground up, you would understand what I mean. This is what you voted for. Higher taxes, sky high inflation, poor foreign relations, corrupt government from low to high including the Biden family, and total anarchy in our cities. This is the result of your vote.

Yup. He did that.
