After missing a lot of big fish the last couple of weeks on a sickle style jigs, I decided to give the Redneck Rubber Co. jigs a go. Their online store was easy to navigate, and my new jigs arrived in excellent condition ~6 days after ordering. Unlike other jigs I’ve tried, the eyes were completely free of excess paint- nothing obstructing the hole. The eye also appears to be 100% closed, leaving no room for the line to slip through the crack.



I was surprised at how much bigger the Redneck hook is compared to what I was using. So much so that I thought I might have issues on the “barely 10” fish I tend to catch so many of. I couldn’t wait to go test them out, so I hit the lake for a couple of hours after work. Im happy to say I had no issues hooking up on the barely legal fish. If anything, it seemed the bigger hook was getting much deeper penetration than what I’ve been used to. So far, Im very pleased and would absolutely recommend you give these jigs a try.
