I caught this beefy sunfish yesterday, but I'm not sure what kind it is. Usually if I catch sunfish there it's red breasted, but I didn't see any color on the chest of this one:

Can't get a good look at the coloration or complete body shape, but judging by the slightly elongated earflap, the darker scales above the eyes, and a fairly large mouth I would think its a coppernose bluegill hybrid, probably multi-generational. Nice fish.

Looks like a coppernose bluegill to me but it's hard to tell what colors it has in the photo.
