Nope. I went last Tuesday did good then Thursday everything was closed up.

Driving across the dam Sunday and saw boats on the water. Have no idea where they launched.

It's not like it is closed to traffic, there are a ton of boats in marinas and docks. There may even be some leased ramp that charges the paying public to launch.
I say this because my dad was on a guide trip on Saturday.

Check with Harbor Master Marina. They usually stay open as long as there is any ramp at all sticking up out of the water. 254-694-3033
