Does anyone know what’s going on with AMart at the MLF event at Chickamauga? He is in 39th place with 4-10. Seems like I saw him with that same weight in the previous round. Hope he isn’t having more health issues.

I think it just means he ain’t catching anything.

He got sick from chemo while fishing the event.

I do not think he is doing too well. I hope my suspicions are wrong, but it's what it looks like. I hope he can make a full recovery, he is truly one of the greatest minds in the history of bass fishing.

Chemo sickness is bad stuff. Some days it was brutal just to get out of bed. I cant imagine trying to fish, especially in competition like that. Prayers up for a good guy.

Yeah he was up all night sick due to chemo and then laid on the deck and fished most of the day due to be weak. I pray for him

I think many of us forget what’s it’s like to “have to go to work”. Benefits like sick time, vacation....paid leave that allows so many of us to take off when we have to. Benefits when not self employed. Fishing for a living(while seemingly a cool occupation) is not a get rich quick scheme at best. Have to go to work to even have a chance to get paid. Prayers for him! 🙏
