Been a tough week for rods for me, have not broke a rod in 20 years and broke two of my favorites this week.

On Thursday a big crappie snapped my ACC 10 foot jigging pole about 18 inches from the end, the rod is only 9 months old but caught a lot of fish this spring jigging shallow water heavy timber, not sure why it broke Thursday, was in my boat in 20 feet of water.

Yesterday my old Wally Marshall Bass Pro rod that I love ,and is no longer made, broke when I hung up on a tree, the jig got stuck and I just popped the rod and it broke.

Just bad luck I guess, had to finish the day fishing with my B&M poles, there is a night and day difference too.

Looks like ACC is out of everything, anyone know where I can find a ACC crappie Stix 10 footer?

Any other good sensitive rods with backbone in stock anywhere else?

I have a couple ACC`s and they are Good rods however anything man made is subject to a mishap a time or two. I had that happen to me on RC ( I got fish though) took the rod to Ritchie of Thumpers Elite outfitters (469.628.0625) got it replaced. I`m sure someone else will chime in (they always do ) when talking about rods etc. Have you ever checked out PRO Angler or Bonehead? They offer a variety of VERY Good Rods! The pro A`s R Very affordable! i`m jus sayin peep

Just an FYI you can purchase just the tip sections from ACC and it looks like the 10’ tips are in stock. https://acccrappiestix.com/product/...-rod-both-mid-and-rear-are-the-same-tip/

Also, if interested I have an almost new ACC 10’ mid seat jigging rod I would part with. I can’t for the life of me keep my line from getting twisted and wrapped around the end of the rod constantly. Happens with mono or braid.

ACC rods are nice though. Gonna check out the pro Angler rods mentioned above too.

Thanks, I will order the replacement tip, exactly what I need. Send me a PM for a price for your 10 footer.

Good Rods! Minus the aesthetics. Lots of times people buy based on how pretty & colorful an item looks .Self included.lol You won`t get that with the PA but what you`ll get is a bare bones, bang for your buck Quality Rod w/decent cust.svc.I`m jus sayin.

I big shoutout to Thumpers Elite Outfitters in Wylie for taking care of me, they had the replacement tip in stock for my ACC crappie Stix rod and also ACC 10 and 11 footers in stock so I was able to get one rod repaired with a new tip and buy a new 11 foot rod also.

Also checked out a Yanko rod out and really liked it, I will try one of this next.

And a thanks to Fishbonz for the referral
