Anything decent for that price? I’m using a old heavy action All Star and that sucker is “HEAVY” grin Not much tip to it.

I probably use the same heavy all star. 7' heavy Carolina rig rod. I'm not sure I could change to be honest. I had an original one from Houston and broke it being an idiot one day. I ended up getting the same rod in a newer version. It probably does make it a little harder to walk a frog

Any 7’3” or 7’6” heavy will do. Don’t need sensitivity just power.
I use an old Garcia 7’6” heavy that was about 75.00 new.

That’s the exact rod I’m using-Kinda hard to walk a frog, not much tip, and tip heavy. Thanks

Falcon used to make a great frog rod; the Cliff Crochet Cajun Baby. Think they discontinued it around 2018.
