Picked up a few for an upcoming fish fry. Had to fish local due to the weather conditions. Goat soaked a couple of times but the bite was good. Crappie, sunnies, and bass. Bass were caught on spinning baits, crappie and sunfish on jigs, Chartreuse/Black . Water was cloudy with a fast moving current. Fished solo and stayed close to docks and houses. Those will fry up nice Curtis. Nice fish.  Any boat traffic out in that weather?

Thanks guys for the replies. Only saw two other boats the whole time. Vogey there is one crappie in the box. Decided to take more sunnies than crappie this trip. As usual let most of them go.

Thanks Curtis. Must be nice to have your own private lake!  Side Note: I bet the boat and jet flea traffic increases a lot from now till Labor day!

You need to be off the water or back in the canals by 11am. By 11a the circus has arrived. Non stop till dark.
