I saw some videos of the guys boats that will be fishing the Classic and they have the Humminbird Mega Live on them now.
Waiting to see some video of how it does. It’s been in the rumor mill for a long time and now those that said it was just Humminbird trying to fend off those switching or going to switch over to Garmin or Lowrance might have to do a double take it it.
Since all my graphs on my boat are Birds, I’m interested in seeing it perform out on/in the water.

Look on Fun & Sun Bait n Tackles Facebook site. A guy has a clip of him viewing the guys boats at a meet and greet. You will see them on their trolling motor shafts.

Look on Fun & Sun Bait n Tackles Facebook site. A guy has a clip of him viewing the guys boats at a meet and greet. You will see them on their trolling motor shafts. They are definitely on them. I bet that means they will be available in Q1 2022.

They might get them out before Thanksgiving, you have to get the holiday shoppers. Really I think it will be the All to well known, demand verses parts as a timetable to get them out to the regular guys like myself.
If they are available before Christmas, I’ll make sure it will be on my Santa list.
One issue I will be looking at closely is making sure that I will have enough room on my Ultrex shaft for it. I already have the Mega 360 on it and you have a make sure you clear the prop with that and it looks as if the head of the Mega Live is pretty big. There is only so much room to add more stuff to that shaft.

Couple of the guys in the video posted had 360 and mega live, looked like there was plenty of room.

One thing is for certain, if the winner happens to have Live, he’ll be claiming “he couldn’t have won without it”. I’ll never forget when KVD caught 1 fish on a Strike King “wild thing” at the LA classic (the first he won) and he went on & on about how pivotal it was for him.
