I am a fan and can assure you this is much ado about fake news networks. Fauci emails were mischaracterized by the haters. The Andersen email which is at the center of one issue said that it could possibly be man made as 1% of the genome was complex and needed more study. Here is the result of that study in March, 2020. It concluded that it could not have been man made. https://www.nature.com/articles/S41591-020-0820-9Today, Dr Kristen Andersen who was involved with that email came out and pointed all this out. Like usual, haters got to hate. Or believe the Hannities, Carlsons and Bonnovios(or whatever his name is) in the world. Here however is the simple logical question if you want to press the point. How could Fauci know in Jan 2020 that there was "gain of function" if nobody today knows?

If Fauci becomes too much of an embarrassment to the Harris-Biden administration he will be forcibly encouraged to retire. That will be the extent of his punishment for lying and trying to cover up his complicity in gain of function research at a Chinese lab.
