I rarely fish for sand bass, but occasionally I'll take out a smaller child and just want to put them on fish. Last year on Pool I could always find sand bass on Firemans hump. This was consistent from April through August. In the fall they moved. This year it's been really hit and miss. Once I got on them but not near as consistent as last year. Wondering if someone could give me some more pointers. i'm wanting to start a new ministry where I take kids from single mothers at church that never get to do something like fishing. I just purchased an umbrella policy to cover liability and will purchase a camera soon to cover any issues within the boat. Of course you'd need 2 adults on board so if anyone is interested in being a 2nd adult let me know. My boat is at the marina at Pool and is a 20' center console so super easy to fish out of and I have an Ulterra so it's easy to stay on a spot. It's on a lift so I just drop it and go. Probably take kids for like 2 hours so it's not a huge commitment.
