I may be different but when I am looking for White Bass I turn my sensitivity down in the sixty’s on 2D to take a lot of the clutter out. Second pic is White Bass on Lowrance Active Target.

Heres a few examples of white bass vs hybrids. Sometimes I find the white bass just up higher in the water column with just a few on the bottom. Sometimes you stop on it and it turns into something amazing, sometimes it doesn't.

Here is one from twalk last weekend bigger Sandies and a few hybrids over a big school of shad I stopped counting after 50 fish.. Bad picture but good screen full of fish.
