spent over 25 yrs. as a carpenter, went to over the road truck driving but blew the knee out after 8 yrs. (just shy of my 2 million miles with no accident), been here at the ranch now for almost 7 yrs. (sept 1).

construction quit being a retire from job in the mid 70s or just after, the big companies started hiring job to job to cut back on costs. worked for bechtel, h. b. zachry and a couple of others on multiple jobs but no benefits from any. turned contractor in 1981 and never looked back.

21 years. Everyone over the age of 55 was offered an early retirement package so I hit the Yes button. 10/29/21 will be my retirement day. cheer

14 years the 1st go a round.
2nd gig lasted 26 years.
3rd and I do hope the last is going on 2 and hope to be done in 3 more.
