Anyone remember the big almost 5 gal metal minnow buckets from late 70s to 80s I guess? I can’t find them anywhere. All I can find is Chinese junk.

I don’t remember a 5 gallon size one but a galvanized minnow bucket was always in my grandfather’s boat. Maybe a 2 gallon one. The inside was galvanized also.. you could set it in the lake, that part floated and held the minnows.

I have a couple of the galvanized buckets but they are not that big.

These may have been slightly smaller than 5 gal but not by much. I think Gibson’s used to sell them. They were industrial sized minnow buckets. I’m tired of the flimsy plastic junk. Guess I’m gonna have to make one.

The metal ones are the ones that I have used for years and years.
