We’re fishing 2 patterns right now for Blues. You can catch them next to flooded vegetation and timber up shallow or you can catch them on mid depth structure like main lake points and humps around the Sandbass. We been anchoring the shallow bite and drifting the mid depth stuff. Channel Cats are moving to spawn and can be caught around Rip Rap with a slip bobber rig and also on wind blown points with timber on them. This time of year offers a variety of patterns to fish and is probably the easiest time of year to locate fish. If your not catching within about 10 minutes your in the wrong area most likely and after 20 or 30 you need to think about moving. Hope this helps.

Was bass fishing a couple of weeks ago on Roberts and caught several channels up very shallow in the rocks/riprap on the backside of Wolf Island. They were good sized fish between 3 and 4lbs, fat, and seemed to be eating shad. First thing in the morning. Slight breeze blowing onto the rocks. I can only imagine someone fishing with bait under a slip bobber would clean up since I was catching them by accident. Not a big section of rip rap so you'll probably need more areas to fish but this particular stretch is the back right corner of Wolf as you're coming from the main lake going North. They were in 2-3ft of water. Went back later in the afternoon but the breeze had died down and the fish had moved out.

I’d have to stick to the shallows and the flossed timber. I I don’t have my graph yet unfortunately
