any tips on finding some or is it random? do they follow tidal movement or just bait? ive been working eddies in aransas pass when the tides are moving but no luck...any advice would be appreciated thanks!

Jack Crevalle are just nomads. I’ve seen them in the back lakes, channel cuts, just wherever.
Spending time actually looking for one might be frustrating.

Thy were on the south jetty June 3rd. Not bigguns though largest I got was 18 inches of course I was throwing the flyrod with a #4 Redfish Crack fly at about 2 and 1/2 inches long so may have been bigger fish around looking for a bigger meal.

Watch th birds in the surf. When you see birds working and moving at a fast pace that's usually a school of jacks.
