Was at Joe Pool today and water is close to being in the parking lot again at Lynn Creek. Any significant rain this week and it might just make it. Lynn Creek Park and Lynn Creek Marina has closed plus there is a very large boat sitting in the parking lot. It is heavily damaged on the bow and you can see where they drug it across the ground to its resting place. Looks like it might have set somewhere damaged for a long time and they finally got it out of the water. Back to point, are any other lakes close to being possibly closed down due to high water.

Ten foot out of Sam Rayburn would probably fill up all of south Texas right now.

And HOW many lakes below Rayburn need more water now? There are no lakes below Rayburn except Sabine Lake which is saltwater. All that fresh water going into Sabine Lake just screws up the trout fishing.

Bridgeport has went from 6' low to full in last couple of weeks. Really surprised at how clear the lake still is and the fishing has been really good.

My boat;'s at the marina at Pool. Last year when the parking lot flooded the marina would pick you up on a barge and shuttle you to the dock. The only place you can launch right now is the Cedar Hill St. Park, but my guess after this coming week, that will get closed down. Pool is used kind of like a holding lake as it has no houses on it so they let it fill up to protect lakes downstream. They won't drain it for a couple of weeks once we get dry weather which is at least another week out. Least that's what happened last year.

If you need a ride to get your boat holler if the state parks open.

If you need a ride to get your boat holler if the state parks open. If the entire parking lot floods, then the marina drives a barge across the parking lot and will pick you up at wherever the water gets to. The docks float so they operate as normal as long as there is power to the lifts. But thanks for the offer.

It's rained enough down here to give Noah thoughts about building a bigger boat. Lake Travis? Still 20 feet low!
