Today I had all kinds of problems including my valves on the kayak not wanting to work right, new reel falling of and I lost 4 brand new lures to to rocks and branches which was very upsetting and not cheap either. I fished with a baitcaster reel for the first time and my reel kept falling off the pole for some reason. I still managed to land 7 fish including LMB, White Bass and sunfish.

Sorry you had a rough day, and a reel that doesn't tighten down to the reel seat on the rod should never be a problem so maybe it's time for a new rod, and leaking valves on an inflatable boat is not something I would take lightly, and probably not use that boat again.
Those were major problems you were dealing with, but at least you salvaged your trip by catching some fish! thumb
