Nice Gary! What depth minimum do you feel comfortable driving over them with downscan for a closer look?

Very nice. I'm definitely a beginner crappie fisherman, but I've been a tournament bass fisherman since the late 70's and I've used SI/DI for the last 10 years or so. You nailed it when you said it's a lot different when you're looking for crappie. I'm still trying to figure it all out and really appreciate you guys sharing all these tips and tricks.

Nice Gary! What depth minimum do you feel comfortable driving over them with downscan for a closer look? I personally very seldom drive over them in anything less than 15 ft. It may not affect them but I’m not taking any chances lol

You can really put them in the boat, Gary. What line are you mainly using?

You can really put them in the boat, Gary. What line are you mainly using? I use whatever is the cheapest. Right now I’m using 6 lb Mr. Crappie that a guy gave me a couple years ago lol
