 how are you guys fishing with all this rain?

I'd been making plans to hit Caddo lake on a kayak to get on some multispecies fishing, but the plans got canceled because of the immense amount of rain. are you guys just not fishing or how are you dealing with tougher bites in raised water levels and muddy clarity?

I've never fished Caddo, but here on my local lakes I've had my best luck on top water baits.

Been throwing chatterbait up in the flooded bushes when it's cloudy gray and having pretty good luck.

Hasn't changed one thing. Yep except possibly I target newly flooded cover when I find it. Everyone wants to follow them back out deep but I think a lot are hanging out in all this new water and flooded stuff.

I've just been throwing cranks around grass lines and having good luck. I've seen some guys way up in spots that you couldn't normally get to and they were pulling them out of there too. Rain gear is always in the boat the past few weeks because you just never know.

Best day I've had in a long time on Bridgeport Saturday. Rained off and on all day. Caught about 15 LM and only 1 Sandy. 1 on a deep crank on a long point , the rest throwing a weightless Senko shallow.
GOD is good!
