Does any Garmin owner have the Garmin LakeVu G3 Ultra Maps Data Card--West. I just switch over to Garmin and I am interested if its worth the purchase price. Not sure if if my Navionics chip will work with is, so it may be time to sell it.

navionics will not work in garmins, has to be the garmin lakevu G3, garmin now owns navionics.
I have been thinking of buying the G3 but hesitate till I can find out just what improvements it may have over what is loaded in my 93sv units.

I found out that I cannot get the rebates without purchasing the chip also. Man, they always get you going through the drive thru….lol Now its time to sell a perfectly good Navionics chip

The card has the same contours as the built in, but it can do a lake depth offset, where the built in cannot. For my area of South Texas, Garmins mapping sucks. Navionics is definitely more accurate.
