Hello, long time listener, first time poster lol. I searched for this question, but didn’t find a clear answer.

Can someone please tell me if I can connect a Lowrance Point 1 antenna directly to my HDS Gen 2 Touch without a NMEA kit? All that I am trying to accomplish, is to stop the dreaded pointer spin on my bow unit when fishing offshore.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Point-1 needs to plug into NMEA network. All you need is the starter kit and access to 12-volts.

It’s definitely worth it, to stop the spinning!
