Doesn't Gary Yokomoto, I believe that's his name, have a fishing ranch somewhere around Palestine ? I think it's got several ponds and a lodge. You can fish from the bank or rent a boat.

Looks like Quantum Lakes is out of business [SOLD]. Deerlake was already on my list, and Granbury doesn't seem to have bass fishing near bye.

Thank you!

I'd second Gary Yamamoto's BK Ranch. 5 or 6 large ponds that are full of fish. I've only been once, took my 5 year old, so not the most fishing-centric trip. I did catch a 6 and a bunch from 1-3 pounds. Far southeast pond, and largest southern pond seemed the best. Didn't stay, but Inn looked nice. Fishing rates are very fair for the quality and number of fish you catch IMHO.

Heartland 10-10 Ranch.

https://heartland1010.com/

I can tell you that it is absolutely awesome and rivals Camelot Bell. I've caught and have seen others catch multiple double-digit bass out of their 4 or 5 40+ acre lakes. The deer are genetic freaks and the accommodations in the owner's lodge are nice. The trailer on site is good for men, nothing fancy of course.

I assure you that you will not be disappointed in your stay. It's epic.

Sorry for the late reply.

Much obliged. Will look them up. thumb

A couple of good fishing lakes in site and a ton of cool things for the family to do.

If you set up a fishing trip, ask to have Tanner Morgan take you out. He is a great guide.
