So I broke a NRX last month and they said it was discontinued and they are going to send conquest when available which is best NRX plus or conquest? Depends on who you talk too. The conquest retails for more but I like the NRX blanks better. I have not fished the NRX plus yet to give a fair response. I did throw the conquest and really like it but just like the NRX more. No real bad option. It’s like asking BMW or Mercedes. Depends on the person.

I love my NRX 854. I just dont see the plus, or anything else for that matter, getting that one out of my hands. Ironically I cant seem to find the same love for my 895.
"Slow ahead." I can go slow ahead. Come on down here and chum some of this [censored].

I justified it by selling a bunch rods I did really use. I would rather have 2 or 3 awesome set ups than 10. I tend to pick up my favorite rod way more than all the others which just so happens to be my most expensive ones. I can understand you would rather have 2 or 3 high quality rods better than several regular ones based on your style of fishing and where you fish. I would do the same in your situation. For me, I have a bass boat and I am able to fish many different techniques so the minimum # of rods that I need to cover all the baits I like to throw would be 16, even though I have many more than that. I usually have 10 rods on the deck of my boat and 12 in the rod box. All of them are good quality rod and reels. I do have a NRX, a Dobyns Extacy, and a Kistler Z bone because I was curious about the sensitivity of the rods based on all the comments about them. That NRX is super sensitive and it is an older one.

I have fished a Xstacy but I didn’t think it was worth 500 dollars. I would rather buy an Expride for half that. You should just sell a 100 rods and buy some new NRX.
