I have a 12" HDS Live. Would ideally like to add Active Target, given the investment in the unit, deck space, etc. Have only fished with a Livescope 9" on a buddies boat. Love it. Trying to decide between just adding the Active Target or adding a Garmin unit and Livescope. How has your experience with Active Target been? Any objective opinions between the two? Thoughts on 12" Active Target versus 9" Livescope from anybody who has seen both?

Appreciate it.

Really Love my Active Target and how I can go from Down/Forward to Scout with the bracket that comes with it and without any tools. I had a partner in the boat with me that stated it had better detail than Garmin. They both probably work well, so I would go with what you have, since that is Lowrance, stay with Lowrance.
