Been a minute since I posted and I've got loads of fish I could share with y'all!
This was the second time I've caught this guy (in very rapid succession, mind you!). I figure if he wants to be caught so badly I'll go ahead and give him a name. I dubbed him "Humpty-Hump"

Humpty came out again not a week later! Hungry little fella.
A few more Koi I haven't posted yet! The first Koi was the first fish of the day, which strangely enough happened 3 times during my baiting campaign. Not sure if Koi feel more comfortable during the wee hours of the morning or if it was just coincidence!

This incredibly gravid female is a recapture of my old PB! She went the same weight this time, still as pretty as ever though!

And this one! This fish taunted me and everyone I took out literally every day. Sometimes multiple times a day. Crashing and swimming around just under the surface, the day I caught her she was right under my rods and an hour later I had her on the line!
The crown jewel! When I started this baiting campaign (baiting 5 gallons of bait daily for a month) my two goals were a 20+ Koi and a 30+ Common. I didn't get my big Common but I'm more than satisfied with this Koi! She tipped the scales at 22lbs 4oz and as far as I'm aware is the biggest Koi ever landed in the DFW area. Keeping with the TFF tradition of naming our Koi after world leaders I'm naming this fish "Joan of Carp."Hopefully someone else can catch her when she's mid 20's or even bigger!
Just one of the 101 Carp and Buffalo I landed in a 13 hour period during an absolute haulfest! Dfitz has got one of the best Carp spots I've ever had the pleasure of going to, can't wait to get back and tear them up again!

Here's two from a recent trip with an old Irish Carper. We tried a new spot and didn't get any giants but had plenty of action, especially in the margins! This was one of just 3 Buffalo I landed during the trip, and what a beaut! Such a neat shape.

One of the larger Commons, almost every one I caught came just a few feet off the bank, even though we were baiting copious amounts about 60yds out!
Made a trip out with Caribou to a lake I've never even considered fishing before. Was pleasantly surprised with what came out! Going to have to make a long trip there someday. This Common was an absolute beaut! Super long fins, nice and chunky. Very heavy for the size, and a great fighter!

This was one of just a few Buffalo we landed. They really moved in on the last day, and they couldn't resist what I was offering! Almost every Buffalo I landed that day came on beef jerky on the hair, might as well call the Buffalo in this lake "Beefalo," lol!

What in the world?! These aren't Carp or Buffalo.

The Freshwater Drum in this location are incredibly thick. My family and I caught 63 fish in just 3 hours during a recent trip here!

Occasionally you get a nice White Bass as well!

This fish is a dream fish for us Roughfishers. The Blue Sucker is incredibly rare across the nation and especially elusive here in Texas. Managed to find them spawning and caught about 2 dozen with my friends! Passed on a bunch of info to TPWD and they were quite interested! Hopefully I was able to help in the research of this Threatened species.
Last but not least is this amazing Bigmouth Buffalo. The head on this one had me convinced it was a 50 or 60+ while it was in the water, alas it only went 34lbs. Still a PB however, and it pulled like a truck! So cool to catch one of these potentially centenarian fish right here in Texas.
