First time at Pool in 8 or 9 years. This lake always produces a few good ones. I assumed they had spawned but this gal either just dropped em or was still doing it.

Dang it. Yeh..I checked. It’s only 2-1/2 ft high right now. Maybe by this weekend it will get up there some.
Not up there as of Monday. Caught most of ours in 6'-8' of water. Picture fish was 6.1 ilbs. Fished 5 hours and boated around 15. Most were decent 2-3 pounders. Caught a couple of dinks, 2 - 4's, 1 - 5, and the 6.1 was the largest. Mostly squarebills. No frog bite...at all which really surprised me. Flipped a little but never got a bite. Moving baits seemed to be what they wanted. No giants but I'm always happy when I boat at least one over 5.
