I have been catching 15-20 of these monsters a night for the last couple of weeks. Are these red ear or bluegill perch?
They are a full, fist full of perch. I’m not going to brag on the size of my hands, but they are huge.
These seem to be close to a pound each, I didn’t weigh them because the window to catch them each night is about 40 minutes. Once the sun goes behind the trees, it’s game on until it starts to get dark.

Pretty fun on light gear.

I actually thought they might be copper nose. I am fishing in Hideaway Lake and they stocked them years ago.

What those are is TASTY if you introduce them to cornmeal and hot bacon fat.
