There is no dominate solution out there right now. Everything has pros and cons. If you fish a lot of bursh piles, you'll want a pole of some sort. If you plan to try and replicate what Josh Jones was doing you'll want a perspective mount for the Ultrex shaft. The "All Sync" from all aboard is about the only solution I've seen that attempts to bridge the gap. I've not heard any first hand feedback on how that works, it looks bulky to me though.

I was one of the first orders for the all synch and it's awesome to have the best of both worlds.

The all synch has the machine work for sure . I’ve built mine out of pvc and a old peace of cutting board mine is mounted in the front of my ultrex instead of the side to where it don’t interfere with my shaft and it works great in the thick brush or in open water pop the belt off if your on spot lock or put the belt on if your searching. If I knew how to post a pic y’all could see the 20$ investment
Never give up !!!!!

Bill up in Arkansas posted this one on TOS that is a lot more budget friendly than the ones mentioned above. Link to Bill's post.

I don’t remember how you had the belt rigged for turning it, but I remember the rest of it
