A little odd the Tour is going to Harris chain this late, aren't they typically January/February?

It will be interesting to see what John Cox does here. If he makes the Elites weekend cut, he’s missing a day(s) for BPT on his home lake. Group A of the BPT and the full Elite field are fishing Friday. Group A will fish Friday & Sunday, Group B will be Saturday & Monday.
He’s currently 33rd in the AOY on the Elites, 29th on BPT. He’s within the Championship cuts for both tours.
Let’s say he’s in Group A for BPT, fishing Friday. He has a great day 1(Thursday) of the Elites and is leading with 23 pounds. Do you drive home for Day 1 for Group A and hope his 1 day weight allows his to make the weekend cut on the Elites? Since you have an off day on Saturday for BPT, you can fish the Elites. Or do you not fish your first day at BPT, knowing you are guaranteed fishing Sunday. Do you fish hard on the Elites for 3 days, let the chips fall where they fall and head down for 1 day of fishing your home lake hoping you make the cut to the next round by only fishing half the time the other 40 anglers get?
It’s 8-1/2 hour drive between the two host towns. I don’t know if he’s running separate rigs this year (I don’t believe he is) where he could hop on a flight to/from.
It’s going to be a good week for professional bass fishing

I believe he has 2 models of Crestliner he is running, one is a little bigger than the other. MLF has put him in group B once this year already with this same situation I would guess they do the same this time, if he makes the Elite cut he will have a decison to make.
