Wish I new the story behind this fish like depth and bait. He said on a top water, he was loading up at ten when we were unloading, not sure why he went around to concho to weigh it instead of Elm creek where he loading. Congratulations to him, beautiful fish. If that is true, can you imagine the blow up by a 14#er on a topwater! I would bet it wasnt a huge blow up but more of a toilet bowl flush. I caught several over 10lbs on top waters and they all were like a toilet bowel flush

He couldn't lift that fish You're correct, my back couldn't handle it. Tweaked it carrying you in all our tournaments.

That's when you set the hook and feel like you are snagged, and then the snag starts swimming away.
Just one more cast!

The toilet bowl flush bite I would agree with.

Man, what did that fish eat? I have only caught/noodled one fish close to that size of a belly but it had gas in it from a stuck tilapia in its mouth. Once the tilapia was removed and the gas escaped it was a long skinny old bass. Congrats.
