Fished south of Veach. Water clarity good. Temp 74-76. 6ft high. Found OK quality suspended in isolated buck brush on wind blown outer edges. Flipping 3/8 to 1oz depending on thickness. Nothing out of green limbs. All out of pre-flood existing brush and willow trunks. Seemed to prefer a little slower fall. Did catch a few throwing frogs against flooded trees way back in the flooded timber. Was a good day.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways with a fishing rod in one hand, 10# LMB in the other, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and yelling "Wow! What a Ride!

That tourney was on Toledo this past weekend. Avoided the chaos.
